After facing a disaster like ‘Orange’ which was made with a huge budget, the Mega family started considering the budget aspects of the films for Ram Charan.

After taking a short break, Ram Charan got himself ready to resume the shooting of ‘Merupu’ under the direction of Dharani.

However, the director had spent more than Rs 3 crores in the first schedule. Realising that the budget of the film is exceeding the limits, Chiranjeevi reportedly told Dharani to reduce the budget of the film, but the director expressed his inability to do so.

Now, the latest buzz is that the producer and the hero are looking for another suitable director to handle the subject within a specified and simple budget.
